DAY 1 Arrival in Ladakh

After your arrival at Leh Airport, you will be greeted by our local tour representative and transferred to your three-star hotel. As per your Ladakh family tour itinerary, take a few hours to rest and freshen up. Take the evening to explore the surroundings at your own pace. Return to your hotel for dinner followed by overnight stay.

DAY 2 Sightseeing tour in Leh

Enjoy breakfast with your family members at the hotel. As per our Leh tour itinerary, start your sightseeing tour in the city of Leh. Experience the unique magic of your car going uphill at the Magnetic Hill, offer prayers at Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, and witness the beautiful confluence of Zanskar and Indus River on your way back to Leh. On this 7 days Leh itinerary, pay your tributes to fallen soldiers at Ladakh Hall of Fame Museum. Return to your hotel after full-day sightseeing and spend the night in Leh.

DAY 3 Leh to Pangong Lake

After early breakfast in Leh, embark on a day trip via private transfer to the famous Pangong Lake which is about 160 km away. On the road to Pangong Lake, stop by Sindhu Ghat and Thiksey Monastery to bow before Buddha and later on, cross the mighty Chang La Pass at 17,586 feet. Click selfies with snow-capped summits and after descent stop for a cup of hot tea and Maggi at Tangtse. Drive through Changthang Sanctuary to reach the Pangong Lake and check into your lakeside camps. Take the evening to explore the shores of the lake and enjoy sunset views. Spend the night after a warm dinner at your campgrounds.

DAY 4 Excursion to Nubra Valley

After breakfast at the lake, proceed for a trip to Nubra Valley—a land of surreal natural features. Enjoy the four-hour drive to the valley to reach the sand dunes at Hunder. On your way, stop by the headquarters of Nubra Valley at Diskit and visit the famous Buddha Statue and Monastery in Diskit. Continue your journey on this Leh family tour to Hunder which is popular for adventure activities. Enjoy camel rides in Hunder (on double-humped camels) and have a blast with your family. Enjoy a traditional dinner and then spend the night at your resort in Nubra Valley.

DAY 5 Return to Leh

After breakfast in the hotel, visit the famous Maitreya Buddha Statue in Diskit and head to Leh. Start your uphill journey on a treacherous road to Khardung La pass located at an altitude of more than 5,600 meters. Take in the vast panoramic views of Zanskar and Karakoram ranges from the mountain pass before descending back to Leh. After reaching the city, check into the hotel and hit the markets to pick up a few souvenirs. Spend the night for a much-needed rest in Leh.

DAY 6 Monastery tour in Leh and Sightseeing

As per your Leh tour itinerary, enjoy breakfast at the hotel and gear up for a full-day monastery tour in Leh. Drive to Shey Palace to get insight into the Leh’s Namgyal royal family and visit the lovely museum there. Visit Hemis Monastery, the largest one in Ladakh, and stop by the ruins of Stok Palace. Return to Leh to visit the white-coloured Shanti Stupa located on a hill overlooking the Champsa neighbourhood. Pay a visit to the grandiose structure of the 17th-century Leh Palace to get unparalleled views of Old Town in Leh. Overnight stay is in the hotel at Leh.

DAY 7 Bid Farewell to Leh

Enjoy breakfast with your family at the hotel before checking out. Pack your bags as your Leh family tour package culminates today. You will be dropped at the Leh Airport as per departure timings.
